Japan's Car Manufacturers Help Earthquake and Tsunami Victims

The photos and video of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan are both riveting and heart-breaking. Here's how some of Japan's auto manufacturers have been affected, and what they are doing to help the local population:

Ever since I visited Nissan headquarters in Japan a few years ago, I receive regular email updates from them. This is what I have been told:

 Nissan opened its Global Headquarters in Yokahama to the public the night of the earthquake and tsunami on March 11th, and provided shelter, blankets and water to more than 150 people.
